Theatre is a activity that offers the possibility to analyze multiple aspects of a person: his way of using space, his ability to follow a given pattern, the ability to improvise and thus to resolve situations not planned.
As Peter Brook says, there is no right way to play but the only possibility is the true way, which is to everyone in every moment of the show. The actor must not be other than himself, to be true, and then get involved.
This implies the acceptance of constructive criticism and the assumption of responsibility, because the success of the show depends on the commitment of everyone and all are essential. The theater is a box where you can try to play, express themselves freely without any value judgments, experience the game to be someone else, to communicate and get in touch with himself and with others, join a group without losing their identity, have fun in a time suspended from everyday life, discover your limits and resources, show how there is shown in other contexts, listen to others, change their shape, improvise, get in touch with their emotions and the other, lost and find and then get lost again.
Based on these theoretical assumptions, for years the family houses use the theater as a training tool of growth and creative experimentation that will provide residents a personal awareness of self, of identity, of their own limits and boundaries, bodily, social and relational.
We believe that this experience is shared with the boys of the Institute of Higher Education "Via Asmara" former headquarters ITAS "A. Celli, Via Novara 20 ", can become a strong educational experience and personal growth.
